The room is part of every audio system.

Even exceptional loudspeakers and electronics cannot escape the acoustics of the space in which they are used. Correct acoustic treatment can improve clarity, focus, openness and the natural sense of space, allowing the system to perform much closer to its full potential.

At Listening Location we use Ortvik acoustic treatment in our own reference listening room. Behind our AlsyVox Caravaggio loudspeakers are customised versions of Ortvik’s Parametric Tower, based on the company’s standard design but made considerably larger specifically for our installation.

This illustrates one of the attractions of Ortvik. Alongside an extensive range of standard acoustic products, custom sizes and solutions can be produced for individual rooms and systems.

We believe acoustic treatment should contribute visually as well as sonically to a listening room. Ortvik’s combination of acoustic engineering, natural materials and architectural design allows the treatment to become an attractive part of the room itself.
